Steve Gorn has performed Indian classical music on the bansuri (Indian bamboo flute), soprano saxophone, and clarinet in concerts and festivals throughout the world. His captivating blend of Indian music and contemporary world music can be heard on recent recordings by Jack DeJohnette, Tony Levin, Krisha Das, and Alessandra Bellone, and Paul Simon. On this edition of New Sounds we hear a sampling of his Indian classical ragas.
