From January's New Sounds Live concert at Merkin Hall, we hear the up-and-coming new music ensemble Alarm Will Sound, conducted by Alan Pierson. The Rochester, NY-based group performs classics by Philip Glass and Sir Harrison Birtwistle as well as new works by Derek Bermel and Cenk Ergun. Each selection is given live remixes by Dennis DeSantis.
