Filmmaker Ric Burns and his colleagues have been working since 1992 to bring "New York: A Documentary Film" to Public Television. The 12-hour epic series premieres this Sunday, and through the week, on PBS; and as Sara Fishko tells us, just one little radio piece hardly seems adequate to describe it.
