In "Comedy School" Sara Fishko observes classes on the fine art of stand-up, and introduces us to several comedy students and their struggles to attain the holy grail of humor: laughter from a live audience. We follow the aspiring comics, who range from rank beginners to seasoned professionals, from their early dreams to the sometimes terrifying reality of live performance. In keeping with the spirit of the Fishko files, Sara doesn't so much answer questions, as ask provocative and compelling questions: What does it mean to be funny? Why comedy? Why now?
News, weather, Radiolab, Brian Lehrer and more.
