Teddy Wayne talks about his novel Kapitoil, about a young financial wizard who creates a computer program called Kapitoil that predicts oil futures and reaps record profits for his company.

He soon begins to question the moral implications of Kapitoil, and moves toward a decision that will determine his future, his firm's, and where his loyalties lie.
