There have always been hispanics in hollywood who changed their names. Like Martin Sheen, Emilio Esteves.

Regarding that clip from "Bedazzled" -- now you've gone and done it! That really made my day.

About heritage

Does Ms. Welch (born Jo Raquel Tejada to a Bolivian father and an American mother) identify herself as a latina and are there any stories about latinos finding their way in Hollywood? Does the success of someone like a J-Lo or Shakira resonate for her?

Please urge Ms. Welch to reissue/update her yoga videos. I am a huge fan and would love to see them come out on DVD. Does she still practice yoga?

I have fond memories of being a teenage boy in 1968 and watching Ms. Welch's heist comedy, "The Biggest Bundle of Them All." If you have a sec, could you ask her what it was like working with the great Edward G. Robinson?
