The Death of American Virtue

Thursday, February 25, 2010

Of course we all have biases. I knew Ken Gormley when he was at Harvard Law: a very decent, fair-minded young man then and, from his writings, I believe to have maintained his impartiality.

Is professor Gomley familiar with "presumed innocent" ?

Presdent and Hillary Clinton were not even charged in White Water. Let alone found guilty.

His notion of "the sum of " the elements paints a differnet version or outcome is irrational at best.

Professor? Seriuosly? Never charged and not guilty does not add up to guilty. The professor is funny and silly.

He should watch law and order.

Mr. Blaustein, are you saying the Clintons are above examination. The Bush administration has been investigated and serveral books have been written both pro and con. Why grant the Clintons a free pass on bad behavior.

Prof. Gormley professes journalistic objectivity but is as biased as everyone else. Please ask him whether he believes his own biases impact this book and project.

Is he planning on doing any investigation of George W. Bush's administration and their own less than virtuous methods.

The Clintos insult the intelligence of the American People. From I did not inhale, to the Rose law firm files that appeared by magic, to Monica to dodging sniper fire in Bosnia. Too smart by a half.

It still boggles the mind to recall how gov't was hijacked by Ken Starr and his REpublican cheerleaders in Congress over Bill Clinton's foolish acts which hurt no one but his family and were nobody's business but theirs.
$70 million spent at that time to record and produce the salacious record by people who are conservative and repressed.
The business of the people was completely halted while political assassination occurred.
These are the people who spout moral rectitude and are attempting, once again, to halt progress by a popular leader.
It is amazing that Clinton accomplished what he did in his terms in spite of the onslaught.

What role did the conservative media play in the attacks on Bill Clinton?
