Director Ethan Hawke and actors Marin Ireland and Alessandro Nivola discuss the revival of Sam Shepard’s play "A Lie of the Mind." It tells the story of two families torn by violence and resentments. "A Lie of the Mind" is playing through March 20 at The Acorn at Theater Row, 410 West 42nd Street. More information and tickets here.

Sorry, Ethan, the characters in the play are all such morons that any sympathy I had for them quickly evaporated. My companion asked if we should stay for the second act and I said, "Maybe they will all get cured and go to Harvard." I loved your previous play, "Things We Want" but "Lie" is just too bizarre.
