The first organ-sax quartet record was "Tambouritza Boogie" with Louis Jordan on alto and vocal and the great Wild Bill Davis on organ. After all these years it holds up and stands the test of time. I suggest that David and Lenny try to hear it. It rocks. It swings.
Love David's playing and his unmistakeable voice on so many classic recordings!
Will "NIght Music" -- the great show David hosted in late 80s-- ever be released on DVD? There were some great performances that should be seen and heard.
