The Museum of Innocence

Wednesday, November 11, 2009

Orhan Pamuk talks about his latest novel, The Museum of Innocence, his first since he won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2006. It tells the story of a man who collects objects that hold memories of a lost love, and is a sweeping tale of Turkey’s conflicted identity—tradition versus Western modernism, the clash of class and culture.

Event: Orhan Pamuk will be speaking and signing books
Wednesday, November 18, at 7:00 pm
Barnes & Noble, Union Square
33 East 17th Street
