I Shudder

Thursday, September 17, 2009

Humor writer Paul Rudnick takes a close look at all manner of subjects: from living in a series of increasingly bizarre apartments in New York City to cavorting with his artist friends to dealing with showbiz personalities to the finer points of coping with one's family. His new book of essays is I Shudder: And Other Reactions to Life, Death, and New Jersey.

Anne Gordon from Piscataway, NJ

As a Piscataway resident, like Paul, I remember that bill board very well. I've been following his career and am very happy for his success. Piscataway was founded in 1666 - neither Paul or me have been here quite that long (although, to me, sometimes it does feel that way) but Piscataway is doing well and he is always welcome to come back for an updated tour of his home town.

Fifteen-year resident of NJ, transplant from Brooklyn. Paul Rudnick is a genius. Laughed so hard during work--people starting staring.
