Tony award winner Jeremy Irons has stayed away from Broadway since 1984. We’ll find out what lured him back after a quarter century to star in the new play "Impressionism."
"Impressionism" is playing at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, 236 West 45th Street. More information and tickets here.

I have loved Mr Irons since he and Anthony Andrews appeared in The Pallisers.

Mr. Irons is charming and sexy, but the play is awful. It's very precious and pretentious, IMHO.It may read well, but on stage is another story.

How does Jeremy pick his projects. Brideshead Revisited was the best TV series ever. Swann's way also, lots of Dandy parts.
Does he prefer cultural parts?
