Tony Award winner Mercedes Ruehl joins us to discuss her role in the Broadway revival of Richard Greenberg's "The American Plan," the story of a mother and daughter who spar over a young man while summering in the Catskills in the early 1960s. Olivier was told early on by an acting teacher that his nose was going to hold him back in his career. That led to his being self-conscious about his nose. As a result, he often wore false noses when playing his characters.
