Growing Up in 1970s Oakland

Wednesday, July 30, 2008

Don Reed’s new autobiographical one-man show, "East 14th," chronicles his coming-of-age in 1970s Oakland as he struggles to break out of his conservative upbringing and find out who he is in a world of pimps, players, hustlers, and streetwalkers. It’s at New World Stages at 340 W. 50th St.
