I thought vermiculite was dangerous.

Years ago, my father-in-law and brother-in-law installed RW Grace vermiculite insulation in their attic. They were then informed that it was very dangerous and possibly carcinogenic.

is this true? If so, what do you know about this and what should be done about it?
