Listen to music by drummer/composer/percussionist and founder of Oneida and Man Forever, Kid Millions (John Colpitts) for this New Sounds show. From his massive work, “100 Disciplines,” which began as a commission from the Red Bull Music Academy, hear a portion of the percussive array of Thai nipple gongs, amglocken, crotales, vibraphone, tubular bells, pitched pipes, temple bowls, drum sets, cymbals and electronic instruments, plus human voices, from the 2015 installation at the Brooklyn Museum of Art.

Also, hear more music for percussion from Man Forever (also John Colpitts) & the mighty avant-pop percussive trio TIGUE, recorded live in the Greene Space, which kicked off the 2016 Ecstatic Music Festival. Then, listen to works by Marc Mellits and Paul Lansky for two marimbas and two vibraphones, from the University of Central Florida’s Percussion Ensemble, record, Patterns.
