Your Uncommon Economic Indicators: Seeking Career Advice

Monday, February 09, 2009 - 05:13 AM

Young people and their advocates are expressing concern about the state of the job market right now. At a recent career fair held for youth and young adults at the Riverside Church in Manhattan, job seekers asked a few questions they hope the WNYC audience and contributors to Your Uncommon Economic Indicators will respond to.

Among the job recruiters at the fair were Urban Park Rangers, Job Corps and a cabinet maker from New Jersey who may consider offering one or two apprenticeships.

If you have any advice for these young job hunters, or if you have a question of your own, please post them on our Bulletin Board.
