What is the point of interviewing a journalist about an event when she wasn't even there? The first assertion, that most of the people who gave testimony were not from the affected schools is completely false. There were hours of testimony from students and teachers at Robeson, Columbus, Jamaica and every other school. Lehrer should focus on the people with a stake in these events, not those who merely comment on it.

The plan is to replace closing schools with new smaller schools. Hasn't anyone noticed that among the schools closing are newer, smaller schools?
