Li Na One Of Few Athletes To Break From China's Sports System

Li Na, the sixth ranked female tennis player in the world, advanced Friday to the fourth round of the U.S. Open. Li's career success is remarkable in that she's achieved it after breaking with the Chinese state sports system — a rarity for Chinese athletes.
