A 25-year-old woman was struck by a cab while she was walking near Radio City Music Hall in midtown Manhattan on Tuesday — and passersby, including Dr. Oz, rushed to her aid.
The woman was taken to New York Hospital in serious condition with one of her legs severed below the knee, the FDNY said.
The accident happened at 6th Avenue and West 46th Street shortly after 11 am.
Celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz, better known as Dr. Oz, appeared at the scene of the rescue. He told the Daily News
that he helped create a tourniquet with a belt.
