Were transcriptions from harpsichord ever the thing to do? They have some similarity of sound.

Several years ago, I had the great pleasure of hearing Mr. Fleck perform with Doc and Merle Watson. Did I say pleasure? It was an honor being in the same room with those brilliant musicians.
