Senate Candidates Set to Debate Tonight

Monday, August 05, 2013

All four Democratic rivals for the Senate seat of the late Frank Lautenberg will debate this evening at Montclair State University. This will mark the first time that frontrunner Cory Booker will be involved, after skipping earlier forums.

Booker, Congressman Rush Holt, Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver and Congressman Frank Pallone will be at Montclair State University tonight for the debate.  It will be broadcast live on NJTV.

The four are on the August 13th primary ballot. The winner will face Republican Alieta Eck or Steve Lonegan in a special general election on October 16th.
