I'm tired of hearing that people who rent aren't committed to their neighborhoods. I've lived in my apt. for 28 years, my next-door neighbor for considerably longer. I know others who rent & are highly involved in the neighborhood. Is there any factual basis for this assumption, or is it just believed because people in politics & the media say it so often?

Speaking of fish, there are lots of big fish tanks at Bloomberg LP offices.

Speaking of volunteerism, tomorrow is "It's My Park" Day. Sign up at www.nycparks.gov

You can probably just show up at your local park and help out.
