What does "Pride and Prejudice" have to do with nuclear deterrence?
In reference to the show, I would argue that game-theory, like many other theories, is a formalization of the obvious. That is once it has been formalized it is much easier to understand what it entails and, when elegant, seems obvious to the practitioner.
Working in neurosciences most of what we believe is based on theories and often seems obvious ( once the PostDoc is finished ;)
