Walcott, Turnaround Schools, Teacher Evaluations

New York City Schools Chancellor Dennis M. Walcott has been trying to change the tone around hot-button school issues, but has more work to do to win over New Yorkers, Beth Fertig says in this radio segment about the chancellor's first year at the helm of the Department of Education.

"The Brian Lehrer Show" also delved into what's happening with the turnaround schools, the city's relationship with the United Federation of Teachers and the surveys that are used for school progress reports.
