Rob Curto, accordionist, and member of the band Matuto will be performing live! He’ll talk about the band’s recent release, “The Devil and the Diamond,” and his upcoming performance at Lincoln Center June 20.
I must have inherited my parents' appreciation of Brazilian music...

I wonder if Leonard might, by any chance, recall ever hearing the late Yom Tov Ehrlich in his youth. Ehrlich played the accordion as he sung in Yiddish. I read that he used to perform on the old WEVD every erev Yom Kippur.
Two years of accordion lessons (11-13) at the Bergen Academy of Music on Main Street in Hackensack with Rick Capra.
The studio was one flight up and that accordion was HEAVY but it was my weekly chore. Learned that I wasn't much interested in daily practice....Got to the point where I could play the Alley Cat, though.
