Please Mr Policeman, give us stats on how many terrorists the NYPD has stopped, aside from stings. As I recall, those stopped were noticed by standers by. Not police. As for Stop n frisk, don't alter it. STOP IT! It's not just racial profiling, it's plain racist. I asked two white officers standing at CPW and 81st, "What does a 'furtive movement' look like"? Big guy w a lot of brass asked rhetorically, "You like cop killers"? I wanted to say I especially don't like when black or latino officers are off duty; stuff goes down, he pulls a gun, yelling "police" and is killed by white fellow officers. I warn their mothers, when I meet them, not to make that mistake. Furtive movement? "This is a nice neighborhood". I.e. lily white now; not when I moved here in '79. Miss black neighbors who left for the South to avoid Giuliani's well named Street Crimes Unit, which killed an unarmed black man every few weeks. Then Stop and Frisk - for "say he's standing in the doorway, looking side to side". I: "Perhaps he's waiting for someone to pick him up?" Could be taking the air. After all there are four black households in this 222 apt building. I told them about picketing a segregated motel in NC alone at age 18. Spits, curses, things thrown at me. The big guy with brass spat on the ground. The other shook my hand, and, smiling, seemed to mean it. Was it good cop bad cop? I like to think police are human beings. STOP stop and frisk!

According to CAIR, Anti-Terror is Islamophobia - an irrational fear.

Irrational fears like:

- 9/11
- 1993 truck bombing of WTC
- Bombing of Pan Am 103
- Kenyan Mall massacre
- Mumbai India massare
- Church bombings in Pakistan and Nigeria
- 2005 London transport system bombings
- Madrid train bombings
- Bali bombings
- Fort Hood massacre
- 1968 assassination of US Senator Robert F. Kennedy by a "palestinian"
- Beheading of a British soldier in Britain
- Beheading of people like journalist Daniel Pearl
- Bombing of USS Cole
- Empire State building observation deck shooting
- Murder of filmmaker Theo Van Gogh

Yeah. Islamophobia is an irrational fear of Terrorism.

It is not stop[ and frisk as a policy that is the problem, it is the implementation by precincts...cops gone wile, abusive of their power.

Everyone ridiculed the Giuliani administration for putting the command center in the WTC BEFORE the 2nd terrorist attack.

There is no 20/20 hindsight for a stupid decision.

I can assure you, the Feds did not put their #1 command center in the WTC.

If Mr. Born has evidence of terrorist plots foiled by the NYPD, why is he and Ray Kelly keeping them a secret?

This segment is rank fear-mongering and propaganda. After 10+ years, we haven't had our fill of terrorist hysteria?

You might also want to consider that the "bad guys" got everything they could have wanted from us -- useless wars and invasions, huge sums devoted to the "homeland", etc. etc. etc. They don't need another terrorist attack.

We should fire the NYPD and hire Chinese hackers to protect us from the cyber terrorism.
