Guest Picks: George C. Wolfe

Friday, June 07, 2013

Director George C. Wolfe was on the Leonard Lopate Show recently to talk about bringing Nora Ephron's final play, "Lucky Guy," to Broadway. He also told us what he's a fan of -- let's just say he's got a sweet tooth.

What have you read or seen over the past year (book, play, film, etc…) that moved or surprised you?

I recently re-saw “Brokeback Mountain” and was truly dazzled by Heath Ledger’s performance -- stunning.

What’s the last great book you read?

The Known World by Edward P. Jones

What’s one thing you’re a fan of that people might not expect?

         HGTV home makeover shows

What’s your favorite comfort food?

            Anything with sugar
