Greta Gerwig was on the Leonard Lopate Show recently, along with director Noah Baumbach, to talk about co-writing and starring in the film "Frances Ha." She also told us that she's a fan of musical theater. Find out what else Greta's a fan of!

What have you read or seen over the past year (books, play, film, etc…) that moved or surprised you?

         "The Flick" a play by Annie Baker. "Stories We Tell" a film by Sarah Polley. 

What are you listening to right now?

         "good kid, m.A.A.d. city" Kendrick Lamar and "Random Access Memories" by Daft Punk. 

What’s the last great book you read?

         Hard Times by Charles Dickens. 

What’s one thing you’re a fan of that people might not expect?

         Musical theatre - all kinds.  

What’s your favorite comfort food?

         Macaroni and cheese - I feel like I've tried every single one in the city. Best is DuMont in Brooklyn.
