Monday, June 03, 2013

Colum McCann discusses his new novel, TransAtlantic. It tells three parallel stories of ocean crossings—set in Newfoundland in 1919, Dublin in the 1840s, in New York in 1998. The novel tells the stories of iconic crossings connected by a series of remarkable women whose personal stories are caught up in history.
