Paul Farmer, co-founder of Partners In Health and Chair of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School, discusses working in Haiti, health and human rights, and his role as a voice for global health equity and social justice. His new book, To Repair the World: Paul Farmer Speaks to the Next Generation, is a collection of speeches about the encouraging ways to improve the lives of the billions of people around the world without access to health care, safe drinking water, decent schools, and other basic human rights.
