Host Ruth Bowman interviews artist Robert Indiana and Director of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Carl Weinhardt.
At the time of this 1971 interview, Robert Indiana’s now iconic “Love” sculpture was touring the US and had recently been loaned to the City of New York by the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The sculpture had been installed at the pedestrian entrance to Central Park at the corner of 60th Street and 5th Avenue.
