Escaped Prisoner Caught in Upper Manhattan

Police say they've caught the18-year-old  fugitive who's escape shut down train lines across upper Manhattan.

The NYPD says it's looking for a suspect in a grand larceny case who escaped from the back of a police car earlier this morning.

Vicens Vuktilaj is suspected in a string of robberies in the neighborhood. He escaped from the back of a police car early Monday morning.

The escape prompted the partial suspension of the A, B, C and D lines for nearly three hours this afternoon.  Service was restored around 1 p.m.
