Rand Paul is a perfect example of the adage "even a broken clock is right twice a day," though in his case it's a cuckoo clock.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
Attributed all over, The Bible, Abraham Lincoln, Mark Twain, etc.

I had my doubts that Harry Reid knew how badly he had blown it but if we get more instances where Americans get to see how little is going on upstairs for most politicians can it be bad.

Rand Paul is a self-aggrandizing nitwit. This was a calculated attempt to get attention and raise his profile. Drones flying over the US and killing white people = bad. Drones flying over Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria killing brown people = okay.

Rand Paul has no principle, only political aspirations.

"[Republicans] are looking for any White knight they can find..."

Accurate and absolutely PRICELESS!!!!

Did Bernie Sanders' filibuster attempt get this much buzz? I know it was almost half as long as Senator Paul's, but it seems that Rand Paul's' star has risen almost overnight.

What are these idiotic references to the Jefferson Airplane? Paul's remarks reference Dodgson's 1865 book "Alice In Wonderland", as does the Airplane song itself. No better illustration of the wide-ranging illiteracy in those who purport to be pundits. World culture did not begin with rock music.

10% of republicans but 100% correct...all sides should have stood with him. Democrats were silent on this issue. This was not politics on Senator Paul's part, it was principal.
