Why not take a "Spanish Name Pronouncing" class. I'm sure there are plenty of NPR staffers who would love to have coffee with you and help you practice. You can rattle off so much knowledge - why not do it with a trilling "rrr"!

rude boy - new construction near the water did much better in the storm... it's the old stuff that didn't.

hjs11211: By the time 5th Avenue is under water, much of Manhattan will also be under. That will mean the end of NYC.

Well on that note...if it was a bike lane
Bloomberg would do it

Why were all those developments approved to build all those towers in Williamsburg directly down by the water in flood zone A?

Besides, of being ugly fence posts that fenced in Brookyn.

Is it all about money/corruption or inaptitude?
Will there be consequences?

Bloomberg's opposition to anything that deals with protecting NYC from storms show what an arrogant monumental idiot he is. Good by to a hack.

Great idea...however this will cost money so it
will never happen...As long as 5th ave doen't get flooded
its just a pipe dream

I can't help but think that the political will to address these issues in the Netherlands is congruous with their understanding of science.

Good morning Brian,

Yes, please ask your guests if they had the opportunity to check out the Van Gogh museum tripping on shrooms.

Thank you.
