British pop icon Lulu was on the Leonard Lopate Show to talk about her career; her hits, including "To Sir With Love" and "Shout;" and making her US debut. She also shared what she's been listening to recently.

         Film: Amour + Lincoln


 What are you listening to right now?

         I like young people – Anything Rihanna, Adam Levine, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran


What’s the last great book you read?

         I loved Race of a Lifetime (by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann) about Obama’s first campaign


What’s one thing you’re a fan of that people might not expect?

         Black American music


What’s your favorite comfort food?

         I suppose chocolate, but I also like a good curry.
