Guns should be ONLY in the hands of Policemen, Military and certified securities. No ordinary citizen should have access to guns unless you are certified to own one and the reason to own one. Guns kills people when it goes to wrong hands. Putting securities/ Police in school (we don't live in a nation where violence is an everyday occurence) is not the solution but getting rid of guns from uncertified hands. Video Games are there to be played and if guns are easily accessible then that becomes a problem when it goes into a wrong hand. Mental Illness should not be blamed but to be understood and let's help all this people resort to treatment so they can be good citizens of the nation who wants peace and democracy and be treated equally as well. Let's all be compassionate to one another but not violent. Killing or getting killed will not solve the problem. America learn from other countries as you would want other countries to learn from you.

What is a gun ? A decorative object ? an utensil ? A tool ? A toy ? No it is meant to kill human or animal !
Leave the guns to the police the military if we must ....If people get an excitement at shooting, let them practice at range where they can use guns that they rent but not take home !!!
Stop putting the blame on the media, the schools e.t.c. the guns should be in no one hands, mentally fit or not !

I'm sorry, but I had to turn off the radio. His tone is so condescending and what he is saying is unbelievable that it was just too much for me to listen to. For someone to want armed guards in an elementary school is insane. Let's regulate how guns and bullets are sold in this country as we regulate your driver's license, fishing license, hunting license, etc. Going forward you must have liability insurance as soon as you buy a gun and you must show your gun license and insurance card in order to purchase bullets. Or as Chris Rock says "make guns cheap, but bullets - make them $5,000 each!

This is a joke.Talk about changing the subject. We do not need cops in schools and we don't need semi automatic rifles in the publics hands for any reason. You are a joke and should be ashamed of yourself for suggesting what you are. These weapons are for the military and police-not for anyone else.Keep talking about something that will make things worse.Putting guns in schools is not going to teach our children anything but what the NRA wants-more guns.....you should be commited just for what you are suggesting, people cherish their children but we do not need to arm the people at schools.

What an idiot. The N.R.A. guy is blaming violence on video games. He forgets that every country in the world has those games & they dont have the gun violence we do. This guy is just a mouthpiece for the arms industry. His only aim is to help them sell more guns.

He might have points but his delivery is terrible. He is marking the mentally ill as evil! Mental illness is a disease and all of those people need help. Such a GOP kind of statements - Limit auto weapons, help those who are ill.

So his statement that we are watching to many violent videos - yes - but get rid of assualt weapons own up for this. I can't believe the NRP's approach! This is making me sick!

OMG a bad guy with a gun with a good guy with a gun. More guns! SICK!

The NRA is an odd, irresponsible organization. They need to disband if they want to make a positive contribution to the country.
