Anna Sale, It's a Free Country political reporter, joins us from Colorado to talk about how early voting and voter I.D. laws could affect the presidential race.
There is no need to chide voters who "predict" that Obama will win by saying "who cares, they're not pollsters." Perhaps the 2 of 3 Colorado voters who think Obama will win read the actual pollster predictions, most of whom give Obama a 3 in 4 chance of winning.
Additional thoughts: If you asked me who I thought would win the NJ gubernatorial election last time around I would have said Christie. However, I supported Corzine. Did I vote? Yes. But I had to drag myself as I knew I was casting a ballot for the likely losing candidate. Voter impressions do matter, which is why some on the GOP are spinning the dubious "unskewed" polls that simply delete all the Obama leads to show a closer race. It is very easy to just not vote when you think your candidate will not win.
The irony is delicious! The GOP pushes for voter ID laws to keep all those Dems from voting while stating under oath in PA that they had 0 incidences of voter fraud. Then Reince hires a firm then accused of voter registration fraud! I would laugh if it weren't so serious.
The Florida/National scandal is akin to Repubs yelling: "Government is too expensive and doesn't work!" Then they get into power, and sure enough, they prove it!
So here they are yelling "Voter fraud!"
And proving it.
Republicans wouldn't push voter identification reform so much if Democrats weren't so bent on engaging in voter fraud.
Sarah Silverman represents the gross hypocritical intellectual dishonesty rampid among the "hip" and "cool" rhetoric on the left. Liberals must be very proud to have her as a mouthpiece. Emphasis on the mouth.
I am afraid that I was under the impression that the audience of the Brian Lehrer were not of the ilk that Sarah Silverman is addressing so eloquently.
The isuue might be better served by "upgrading" to Geraldo on WABC....
But this was definitive for me!! Voater identification ALL THE WAY !!!!!
Are you wearing your Obama pin today?
