Rachel Haot Explains Upcoming Redesign of the City's Website

Monday, September 24, 2012 - 12:00 AM

New Tech City host Manoush Zomorodi talks to the city's Chief Digital Officer Rachel Haot about what the city is doing to retain top-level software engineers and expand broadband around the city.

When is the redesign of NYC.gov coming?

The redesign of NYC.gov is coming in 2013 and we're just so excited for that to happen. The focus will truly grow off of the Reinvent NYC.gov hackathon, and it will be a very search-centric, a very user-centric platform that's accessible to all individuals that helps New Yorkers to even better find the information that they're looking for, very much in the vein of 311.
