Interesting how no one talks about the Yahoo executive who was terminated for racist comments. Basically, he said that the Republicans were partying whil black people were drowning in New Orleans. I didn't hear of any drownings but I also did hear that Obama was campaigning durring this natural disaster. The media in this country are a joke!

OK OK we get it, we get it already.... you and Brian Lehrer are not Republicans. We know that already. But in the spirit of bipartisanship (not to mention fair reporting), is there anything you guys can bring out that is positive about them? And will you also be having a Republican comedian comment on the Democratic convention?

Mr. Lopate- I like Mr. Thurston. I think he's very perceptive, and I like that he is questioning all the rhetoric of the Republican speakers, who do nothing more than blow hot air soundbites.

Condoleeza Rice is a war criminal and, intelligent though she may like to seem, is definitely politically myopic. Her take on political issues is so skewed that I can't begin to fathom how she justifies any of them. If I were a student in a university where she was teaching, I'd avoid her classes like the plague. Universities are SUPPOSED to teach critical thinking; she, apparently, cannot think critically, although she does criticize.

What a nightmare these Republicans are. What a disaster they will pose for the country should they be elected.

@JOhn - why Seinfeld? Is it because he's jewish?

Why are we listening to a comic for hard news on national issues. Is it because he is african american??

Seinfeld will be next on Military policy.

Who pays for all this grand treatment Baratunde commented on at the RNC? The tax payer?
