Local Religious Leader Gives Opening Invocation at GOP Convention

On Tuesday, New York's Cardinal Timothy Dolan said he will be giving the closing prayer at both the Democratic and Republican conventions. But another, less well-known local religious leader is also playing a prominent role in Tampa.

Rabbi Meir Soloveichik gave the opening invocation. WNYC's Fred Mogul talks with Amy Eddings about this Manhattan rabbi, who many describe as a "rising star" in the Orthodox Jewish world.
