New Study Suggests Father's Age Related to Autism, Schizophrenia

A new study published in the journal Nature correlates a father’s age with his children’s risk of having autism or schizophrenia. It shouldn’t send older men into a panic, but, as Benedict Carey notes in The New York Times, “the findings also counter the longstanding assumption that the age of the mother is the most important factor in determining the odds of a child having developmental disabilities.”
