John Rhea, Chairman of the New York City Housing Authority
New York City Housing Authority chairman John Rhea responds to the Daily News examination of NYCHA's board structure and finances.
Nick made a great point.
Unfortunately Rhea is another example of the systemic ignorance of the poor and working class citizens in NYC by the Bloomberg administration.
Gimme an 'effin break. If this guy needed to hire an outside consulting firm to find the problems in NYCHA then I guess he wasn't doing a very good job as Chairman now, was he. I guess it took an investigative report to frighten this guy out of the marshes and scramble to make it look like he's been doing something since his hire. They installed 3500 cameras. So what. What are they doing with those cameras? Who is monitoring them, and how often? Why the hell does this guy need outside consulting firms and neighborhood meetings to be aware of the problems in NYCHA? Not a shred of personal responsibility taken. Disgusting.
