Dr. Alan Frome of the Psychology Department of City College reads Murphy's lecture on morale.
One of the reasons we will win the war is that the morale of our enemies will crack. Superiority of morale is traceable in three things: we have been attacked; open and fearless way in which democracy permits difficulties to be faced and worked out; free institutions encourage technical research procedures to discover weaknesses in morale. Shorter work hours would increase productivity; the number of hours worked ought to be determined by scientific research.
Short scripted Q&A.
WNYC announcer concludes the program and announces the new series beginning the next week, "Our Stake in the War," which will feature Nelson P. Mead.
