Venezuelan-native, Gustavo Dudamel, burst onto the scene with tremendous buzz.  An alumni of El Sistema, Venezuela's network of youth orchestras, he was appointed Music Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the age of 28. Dudamel brings an infectious passion as well as diversity to the classical world.
