Monday, July 09, 2012

Mary R. Morgan, daughter of former governor of New York Nelson A. Rockefeller, discusses the death of her twin brother, Michael, who disappeared off the remote coast of southern New Guinea in 1961. Beginning with the End: A Memoir of Twin Loss and Healing, is about coming to terms with that loss.

How did she express her immunity. Anybody would be shocked and freightened if a family member disappeared from any place at any time.
I appreciated greatly, Mary Morgan's interview. I also am a twin. Beyond her personal tragedy she is getting to deeper truth and knowledge on a group of people who have been under researched and poorly understood. That has nothing to do with her familie's other accomplishment. I would love to read her book.

Anthropologist Doctor Gebauer worked with Michael Rockefeller in New Guinea.
What happened to him? Did he continues his work afterward.

I am always amazed how rich people have such problems and how they think they are immune to violence in a violent part of the world.
