Overture to Mon Ami Pierrot by Samuel Barlow written in 1933-34. Composed for a play by Sasha Guitry. This is followed by Marc Blitzstein introducing his play, "No For An Answer," pieces from which are performed by the No For An Answer Chorus, with Rupert Pole as Tenor Solo and Charles Polacheck as Kutch, the chorale director.
