NBC released its fall prime-time line-up this month. While the season's hottest new offerings may be Olympic games coverage or the return of "Sunday Night Football," new episodes of "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" are also guaranteed to deliver high ratings.

The first season of "SVU" — which follows New York City Police Department detectives who investigate sexually based crimes — aired in September 1999. The two-hour premiere of Season 14 airs on Sept. 26.

Given the release of the fall schedule and the fact that the WNYC mapping team was looking for another New York City television show to work on — please see our previous "Mad Men" and "Girls" maps — we decided to map out city spots seen and heard in "SVU" after a Reddit poster made the suggestion.

Check out the "SVU" map to see where Detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni), Sergeant John Munch (Richard Belzer), Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola (Ice-T) and the gang have been around town. Also, let us know if you live on a block where the show has been filmed or if you've worked on the series in its 13 years in business.

The information comes from the unofficial Law & Order wiki, which we organized and put into this table. The fictional addresses given in the show are plotted as approximations, and some of the addresses weren't specific enough to be mapped.

In the episode "Unorthodox" in the 9th season, do they go to Canada? They talk about the kid getting a passport and how the car stood out because of it's New York license plates, but I don't know if they were in Canada.

I worked in the makeup department from the last episode of season 6 to the end of season 12. I had the privilege of shooting in some of the loveliest and most exciting locations in NYC (Grand Central Station, gorgeous penthouse apartments, piers on the Hudson, Giants Stadium, NY stock exchange) to some of the dankest (abandoned subway tunnels in East NY, empty parking lots in February at 2am). This map is quite a trip down memory lane! It was a great show to work on and such a thrill to feel so woven into the fabric of the city.

My relative Kim Chan appeared in the episode titled "Debt." He also appeared in other versions of LAW & ORDER.

Season 11, Ep. 12: Shadow: Mariska Hargitay and Naveen Andrews as Ash Ramsey are led into a trap escorting prisoner Sarah Paulson, who put a bounty on their head. A shootout occurs on 45th Road in Hunters Point, Long Island City, between Vernon Boulevard and 11th Street. I live a block away, and signs were posted that realistic-sounding gunfire would be heard the day of the filming.

I've seen them filming in my neighborhood (Hudson Heights) quite a bit, but remember only one address in particular: 183 Pinehurst Avenue. That's the building next to mine. One day I came home and they were still filming (they're usually done by then) and I saw Richard Belzer (who plays Det. John Munch) sitting on the steps of the street entrance, looking at a script. Trucks out front, cables snaking through the doorway.

Worked on L&O:SVU probably more than a dozen times since it started. SVU has been a constant source of employment for a huge number of actors, both principals and background, actually all the Law and Orders have been. One of the problems of being a NY actor is that there are a huge number of supposedly local series that actually shoot their interiors in Los Angeles (Mad Men, CSI:NY, among others). SAG actors have been thrilled with all the L&O's commitment to local filming

I love SVU, a police drama different and deeply emotional. The whole team is fantastic especially an actress Mariska Hargitay beautiful and super talented.
