Ethan Hawke discusses his role in the movie “The Woman in the Fifth,” a thriller about an American writer who moves to Paris and begins a romance with a mysterious and elegant widow. But things take a strange turn around him. "The Woman in the Fifth" opens at Lincoln Plaza Cinemas, and Village East Cinema.

Maybe a year ago, I accidentally came upon Ethan Hawke's Hamlet on TV with no intent to watch, but was swept up and held in absolute breath-holding attention until it was over and I was released.
