Celebrated Hungarian writer László Krasznahorkai was on the Lopate Show recently to discuss a new translation of his novel, Satantango. He also told us what he's been reading, listening to and looking at.

           A wonderful painting by Fra Angelico--of three angels, in the Louvre.

           W.G. Sebald’s books--all of them

 

What’s one thing you are a fan of that people might not expect?

           The art of Noh

 

What’s your favorite comfort food?

           I don’t eat at all.
